We had these custom lines made to correctly fit the E60 and E61 535xi with the M5 caliper upgrade.
Our custom brake lines have a fitting that attaches to the caliper. You then attach the swivel fitting on the brake line to the fitting on the caliper. This eliminates the hassle of spinning the caliper onto the brake line and hoping it doesn't end up twisting the line once in position.
It also eliminates the need to replace copper crush washers if you decide to remove the caliper.
