FAQ

We accept returns on most of our products for exchange or refund. In case of refund, a restocking fee of 20% will be applied to standard items. Custom orders are non-refundable and may be returned only in the case of defect. Used parts are sold as-is.  Shipping cost is non-refundable. A copy of the original packing invoice, invoice from checkout or a copy of your email order confirmation will be required. You must contact us in advance of the return to obtain a Return Authorization Number and so we know to expect the return. We will not accept any returned item unless it is returned in the same condition in which it was shipped (all orders are photo-documented before shipping). If you have questions about our Return Policy, contact us before ordering.

We are always happy to create custom orders. We pride ourselves on providing automotive individuality to our customers. If you want something that you don’t see on our website, please contact us. All custom orders require a credit card before the work can be started.

Rally Road primarily uses USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail for shipping. USPS Priority Mail has proven to be the fastest and most cost effective method of shipping for small items, heavy or light. Larger items usually ship via UPS Ground. We constantly compare rates to keep shipping costs to a minimum for our customers.

While this would be a nice option, there is not physically enough material to machine from the brake caliper in order to move the brake pad into the correct position on the smaller diameter rotor.
Also, there is not enough room to place a physically smaller bracket between the brake caliper and the spindle mounting ears.

No. E46 330 front and rear rotors, while similar in diameter have a different offset from the E46 M3 rotors for which our brackets were designed.  Even a small shift in offset can make all the difference in properly fitting brake calipers.

While other calipers look similar, the only calipers that can be used are the ones listed on the bracket product pages.  Other calipers may be close in looks or dimensions, but a millimeter or two can make the difference between pads rubbing on the rotor and proper pad location.

We use Loctite GEL type superglue.  The Gel type is critical because it does not soak into the fabric.  Just a small dab to hold location is all that’s needed.  Press and hold for a few seconds and repeat with the next spot to get the boot in the correct position before securing it with small lines of glue.

The solution to eliminating the rust ring is to use a FRONT pad from the 2000 Boxster 2.7 liter in the REAR 996/Boxster S 3.2 caliper.  The front pad will fit and extends down another 5mm to make a more complete sweep of the friction surface.  You are able to use this taller pad with all of our rear brackets.
